In June, every class chooses their own topic to learn about, and Year 4 chose to learn more about cartoons.
So far, we have learned how animators use fast-changing pictures to trick our brains into seeing cartoons move, and today, we tried our hands at becoming foley artists. We used a variety musical instruments, voices and body percussion to produce all the extra sounds that we hear in cartoons, such as footsteps and splashes that add dimension to the cartoons we enjoy.
