Chris who is a Project Officer for DAERA came out to our school to talk to children in Y4- 7 about food waste. We were all fascinated by the facts. Each family in Northern Ireland are throwing away £350 worth of food every year!! Think of the lovely family outings you could have instead just by taking more care to recycle food waste properly.
