Celebrating Maths Week at St. John’s

Last week our school proudly took part in Maths Week Ireland, engaging students across all year groups in a variety of fun, practical and meaningful activities that highlighted the importance and joy of mathematics in everyday life. 

From maths trails around the school grounds to interactive puzzles, games and challenges, students explored mathematical concepts in creative and hands on ways.  Classrooms were buzzing with excitement as learners tackled real-world problems, collaborated on team tasks and discovered new ways to think mathematically. 

This week was a fantastic opportunity to show that maths is not just about numbers- it’s about thinking, exploring and having fun, a huge thanks to all the students and staff who made the week such a success.
