We enjoyed investigating our environment and finding natural materials as we explored signs of autumn.
Literacy- We expanded our language using outdoor and autumnal vocabulary. We discussed our findings and described the natural materials that we collected.
Numeracy- We sorted the materials that we found. We counted our objects and made sets.
We discussed the shapes and sizes of our materials.
As scientists- We investigated our environment and looked at the different types of trees and nature that we encountered. We talked about the different types of leaves that we found.
As artists- We created autumn pictures. Using left over play doh that we made in class, we created sculptures.
