Our Autumn Treasure bags provided us with so much learning.
Literacy- we recalled who we went on our walk with, where we went and what we found.
Numeracy- we counted objects and made sets. Using mathematical language we talked about the sizes and shapes of our natural materials.
Science- we investigated the materials and discussed the textures. We also predicted which materials would last without rotting and why.
Art- we created still life drawings and observed line, texture, shape and size.
Using the materials from our bags, we then created autumn sculptures.
