Pauric got special mention for taking ownership of his learning - both asking and answering questions in class. He even baked cookies inspired by a recipe in a proof read and edit activity.

This week we have been working on our discursive writing, ending with a debate. The motion was “social media is bad for your health.” We had an opposing and proposing team. Mrs Kearney was very impressed with our efforts but found it too difficult to make a decision on who won. Well done to all!
A great day of Cross Country at Tobermore. Well done to those who ran the fun run and those who competed. Year 7 were a credit to St John’s and we had a very enjoyable day.

The mirror in our classroom reminds us that we are in charge of our happiness and achievements.
